| My name is Ellen, a solo female in my late 50's. I had a very limited budget and needed an inexpensive home, quickly. |
| I contacted Currumbin Valley homes after my daughter saw an advertisement in a Coffs Harbour paper. |
I found the manager and staff very helpful, pleasant and were eager to please. I was treated as an individual and made feel "my home" was an important and completely single project to everyone else's home.
There was a variety of plans to choose from to suit your family and lifestyle, and the staff offered various ideas and suggestions to the basic plans. I was able to build to my own personalised style from the basic plan I chose with surprisingly little extra cost. |

| I was able to make all these changes with courteous co-operation and help from the manager and staff. |
| There was a short waiting time from placement of order to delivery date. Transport and delivery was arranged so that the complete home was delivered in one load. Materials were of top quality, perfectly cut, stacked and labelled for easy building and exactly what I had ordered. |
| The builders (I couldn't quite build it myself) commented on "how much they enjoyed putting the home together" - "ease of building - fitted like ajigsaw". There were ample materials with little wastage. The staff were very helpful with anything not completely understood by the builders - Only a phone call away! |
| The advantages of being an owner builder: - |
(a) Able to build a nice home within my budget.
(b) Saved time, money and worry trying to find and having to know what and where to buy the building materials.
(c) I was able to add, choose and change whatever I needed to suit me.
(d) It was so convenient and a lot less stressful to have the complete home delivered in one delivery - an added bonus when building on an island.
(e) Eliminated the need and expense for an architect, plan drawers etc. and was supplied sets of complete plans for presentation to council.
(f) The time taken to build is at your own convenience or need, and was able to complete my home in only a few weeks. |
| I would highly recommend a Valley Kit Home to anyone desirous of building an economical, comfortable, sturdy, well-styled home to their satisfaction and delight in the end product. |
| I treated "my home" as a project and goal, and did all the organising, ordering, painting and gardening and can truly say that I really enjoyed the experience of building my own home. |

Letter Three |
Dear Sir
My name is Paul Smeath and I have just finished constructing a kit
home that was supplied by your company in January this year.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks for helping me
to
build my family's dream home.
I constructed the entire house with the help of a few good friends and the
assistance of tradesmen for those jobs that needed to be carried out by
licensed persons.
In saying that this project would not have been possible if it was not for
the excellent service your company had provided.
As with all building projects there are always problems, and the size of
the
job was daunting at the start especially when you have never constructed a
house before, however having the ability to call Valley Kit Homes for
advice
was what I believe to be the key to the success of the project.
I would Like to express a special thanks to Malcolm whom I contacted often
for advice, he was friendly, polite helpful and always had the solution to
any problem that I presented to him, could you please pass on my
gratitude.
Audrey was another member of your staff whom I would like to say thanks
too,
her help with supply hiccups and managing the finance side of things was
very much appreciated.
I think the professionalism of your staff is one of the things that sets Valley Kit Homes above the others, and I would have no hesitations in
